After Hour Emergency Services for Dogs and Cats

Please notify us by phone prior to your arrival so we can make the necessary preparations for your visit.

What to Expect on Arrival

Bringing your pet to the ER can be overwhelming, and we want you to feel supported from the moment you walk in.

Check-In Process

Check-In Process

Our front desk team will greet you, provide a quick intake form, and make a copy of your ID (driver's license, ID card, or passport). Our customer service representative will ask you a few urgent questions to check you into our system as quickly as possible.

Immediate Triage & Examination

After check-in, a veterinary assistant will meet you for immediate triage to see how your pet is doing. Once an exam room is prepared for you, you'll be brought inside so the assistant can take your pet's vital signs and gather important information. You will then meet with our veterinarian, who will perform a full evaluation and walk you through the best treatment options for your pet.

Overnight Care

Should your pet need to stay in the hospital for overnight care, they will be moved to a clean, comfortable kennel area and cared for by a dedicated technician who will be watching over them closely.

If Your Pet Is In Critical Condition

If your pet is having trouble breathing, collapsing, or showing other severe symptoms, please alert us immediately. We may take your pet straight to our treatment area so we can begin life-saving care right away.

In these situations, we may request a critical care deposit of $1,500–$2,000. This allows us to act quickly and may be used for any urgent, immediate needs your pet has, such as helping them breathe, placing an IV catheter, running fast diagnostics, or any other emergency treatments needed to stabilize them. We understand how stressful this moment can be, and our team will communicate with you clearly as we work to help your pet.

Wait Times

Because we treat pets based on medical urgency, stable pets may experience longer waits during busy ER hours. We truly appreciate your patience as our team works to help every pet who needs us.

Support During Your Visit

If at any time you feel concerned, confused, or simply need more information, please let us know. You can ask to speak with the veterinary assistant lead, who supports our assistants and customer service representatives. If your pet is hospitalized and you have questions about their care, you may request the shift lead, who oversees the technicians and support staff caring for hospitalized patients.
