COVID-19 Social Distancing Measures

Please leave your pet in the car and telephone us from your car to let us know when you have arrived. (760) 962-1122

Due to the nature of emergency medicine, we cannot quote accurate wait times for your pet to be seen, as pets are seen in order of urgency. Upon arrival at our clinic, please call and a triage technician will come outside to assess your pet as soon as possible.

At times, due to excessive patient volume, we may need to refer you to another veterinary ER as we can reach max capacity. If possible, please call prior to coming to our clinic to verify that we can accommodate your pet.

  • Please telephone us before leaving your home. Our receptionist will place you on a waiting list and call you back when it is time for you to drive to the hospital.
  • We wish to avoid clients congregating in our parking lot – KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM EACH OTHER.
  • We prefer you wait at home or in another (empty) parking place to wait your turn. DO NOT WAIT AT THE FRONT DOOR.
  • Please electronically fill out the Admit Form on our website, BEFORE bringing your pet in.

  • We kindly ask you to STAY OUT of our hospital. We will meet you at your car to bring your pet into the hospital.
  • We will communicate exam findings, financial estimates, patient progress, and test findings over the telephone. Please be sure to keep your cell phone charged and available for us to call you.
  • Serious emergencies will be assessed and managed as a priority.
