1. Fully staffed and equipped veterinary hospital during "off hours".
The staff and veterinarian are on site through the week day nights and from noon on Saturday through each weekend to Monday morning and all day and night on major holidays.
2. In house diagnostic services:
Clinical pathology lab; CBC, Biochemistry Panels, Electrolytes, Coagulation Profiles, Blood Gas Analysis, Thyroid Assays, Cortisol Assay, Bile Acid Assay, Canine Specific Pancreatic Lipase Assay, Urinalysis, Cytology.
Virology/Serology Assay: Canine Parvo Virus, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, Feline Leukemia Virus, Heartworm and Borrelia (Lyme) disease, Canine Ehrlichiosis.
Radiography: x-rays of the abdomen, chest, neck, spine and hips along with extremities to assess fractures.
Ultrasonography: Real time assessment of organ structure and content. Extremely useful to quickly assess fluid (blood) presence in body cavities following trauma or disease processes.
3. Surgical Service:
Including but not limited to laceration and dog bite wound repair, Cesarean Section, Chest wall and lung wound repair, Gastric Dilatation and Volvulous, Tumor removal, GI foreign body retrieval/removal, fracture stabilization (bandage/splint).
4. Anesthesia Service:
State of the Art anesthesia induction and maintenance protocols.
Monitoring: Blood Pressure, Oxygen Saturation (pulse ox), Blood Gases, Heart Rate, ECG.
Respiratory Rate, End Tidal C02 (carbon dioxide), Body Temperature.
Aggressive staff training-dedicated anesthetist for each patient.
5. Critical Care Nursing & Therapy:
Family Veterinarian transfers of your pet to provide through the night monitoring and post-operative care.
Compassionate, credentialed (RVT) technicians and veterinary assistants provided “minute to minute" monitoring and nursing care to our critically ill patients.
Pain management protocols: Continuous Rate Infusion, local blocks, epidural infusion and combination protocols.
Intravenous fluid therapy, blood and blood plasma transfusion therapy, oxygen and respiratory therapy.
Central venous, arterial and peripheral sampling (PICC) catheter placement, indwelling urethral catheter placement.
6. Euthanasia and Cremation Services:
Caring and compassionate consultation during a family's difficult decision to stop end of life suffering and pain.
